Tell us a little about yourself : My name is Jamie Rubner, I have a wonderful Husband and 2 children. I am a family person and love animals. I love making people happy and im a very going going silly person!
How long have you been involved in photography? I have been doing photography for 5 years now, and i mainly did it to help family members out then did some volunteer work for the legion in my town for memorial day then my photos got posted in a paper and i do photos for our town paper here too. Since then i want to help other families out who dont have the money to spend a ton on but yet still get decent photos done!
Equipment you use? I have indoor lights i use to take to houses seeing how i dont have a studio yet. I use white and a black backdrop too, i use a 14.1mp nikon camera and hoping to upgrade to a DSRL camera, yes i dont have the top of the arch equpitment but it makes up for my editing skills. I use a CS5 Adobe Photoshop that i got for a christmas gift and have actions i bought for it too. I LOVE to edit peoples photos!!
Who or what inspires you? Everyone insipires me, making them happy is what inspires me. God helps me in this he gave me a gift to make people smile and be happy!
Preferred subject matter? I love editing photos the most for everyone making art for people! I love being creative for others which makes their photos stand out and not everyday work.
Name one thing you haven't caught with the camera that you REALLY want to capture. Thats a great question, i try my best to get every photo i can get for people, i would say action photos every moment photo, jumping in air and going down.
If you weren’t a photographer would you have another artistic pursuit? If so what? A designer for videos, i like making slide show with photos to make movies for people. I have always been a computer person for people i like to design things for people. I am a stay home mother and these talents just shined through me. I always wanted to be a veternarian too.
Plans for the future? I hoping to upgrade all of my camera equpitment soon, and get the word out there more, and just keep getting better and making everyone happy!

Tell us a little bit about you and your business:
My name is Hanna Grapp and I'm married to my best friend and better half, Andrew Grapp! I'm a strong Christian and I'm very big into family and the beautiful outdoors! My business right now, Cadence Photo Design is small but growing :) I'm just working my way into the photography business one photo shoot at a time.
How long have you been photographer?
I have been taking photos since 2010 when I first graduated High School. Then me and my husband, who loves photography as well, decided to start the business around January 2011.
What inspires you artistically?
What inspires me artistically is the incredible and detail design of God's creation. From the tiny veins in the leaves to the emotions in peoples faces, everything can be captured, enhanced, and made beautiful with.
What is your absolute favorite session?
My absolute favorite session is photographing siblings. I'm a very family oriented person and no one looks at anyone else like they do they're brother or sister. I love grasping to loving moments between siblings.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
In the future, I see myself enjoying a simple life. Nothing flashy or busy. Doing the things I love most like spending time with Andrew, and capturing precious memories for people to carry with them forever.
Tell us a story of one client that "wowed" you:
I am soon to take pictures for a young girl and her fiance this summer. Her husband is in the military and has been away for some time so due to the fact that he rarely comes home, they had to plan a wedding quick and short. She is a full time student and does not bring very much income. I was honored she came to me for her wedding photos. I crave my husband daily, I'm amazed at her strength to endure so much time without her other half. I'm so excited to be able to take wedding photos for them! I just hope i can give her something to cherish and hold while her husband is away :) very inspiring story!
